“Come join us at the Thompson Community Center, 9212 County Road 97, on Saturday, June 8 at 10:00AM  as the Town of Perdido Beach buries a time capsule.  We are preserving for posterity the unique history of our town.  Several items and news stories, along with letters and pictures from the town have been collected and preserved.  There is room for more items so if anyone still wants to contribute something, please drop it off at the Town Hall no later than May 30, 2019.  Hosted by the Perdido Beach Ad hoc Bicentennial Celebration Committee there will be light refreshments and all are welcome to attend.”
